Four years on from their joint debut, Past Inside the Present powerhouse zake and marine eyes aka Cynthia Bernard return with eight more ambient movements informed by loss, grief and renewal, and once again they are processed through tape-saturated drones, angelic vocals and orchestral instrumentation of remarkable textural nuance. Still Beauty sits on the precipice of some darkened abyss with hope and melancholy perfectly balanced.
