On the back of a truly triumphant Glastonbury appearance, captured in all its NSFW glory by the BBC and to coincide with their new album At The Hotspot (Bella Union) hitting shops, we have a fresh batch of Tainted Lunch LPs.

Heavy metals. Disco Peanuts. CCTV in the break room.

A little something to get you through the week. There’s enough to go around. Revenge is a dish best served bold. Melt in the mouth disco basslines on a fragrant bed of feedback. Try it with the boom bap tapenade. Here for a good time, not a long time.

If you made your way out of Whale City with your faculties intact, this one’s for you. Clams Baker, Lightnin’ Jack Everett, Mr Salt Fingers Lovecraft and The Witherer have been joined by Quicksand on cutting board and cheese wire and commis chef Cheeks on vibes. They’ve been cooking. Michelin stars. The finest ingredients money can buy: Kool Keith and Iggy Pop. Funk, punk, hip-hop and lounge rock. Love is real.
If you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

● Third album Tainted Lunch follows hot on the tail of 2018’s Whale City, Warmduscher’s first foray on Leaf
● A revolving epicurean cast including members of Fat White Family, Paranoid London, Insecure Men and Sworn Virgins
● Probably the only studio album to feature guest turns from Kool Keith and Iggy Pop
● Recorded in just four days, with soupe du jour Dan Carey (Kate Tempest, black midi, Fontaines DC)
● Lead single ‘Midnight Dipper’ to got its play from Matt Wilkinson on Beats 1, and then elbowed its way onto the BBC 6 Music playlist for four weeks
● ‘Midnight Dipper’ accompanied by blacker than black video by Fat White Family cohort Niall Trask
● Second single ‘Disco Peanuts’ is release on October 3rd, along with a distinctly NSFW claymation video
● Fierce and brilliantly unpredictable live, their biggest headline show to date will be at Village Undergound on November 6, with Squid in support
● Vinyl editions include a printed inner sleeve and download code
● Indies only red vinyl also includes a double-side A2 poster (800 copies for the world)

“A mutant hybrid of Butthole Surfers and Funkadelic” Noisey
