VIOLET was founded in 2019 at a party in the legendary Rockfabrik in Ludwigsburg. The band is set to revive the colorful, extravagant 80s, a decade full of great melodies and hits with big melodies and an unmistakable sound, in the here and now. With their first album “Illusions” from 2022, which was named number one among the time machines back to the 80s by fans and the press, the young formation from the Stuttgart region was able to play its way directly into the spotlight on the scene. Two years after their debut album, which also caused a sensation in Japan and the USA, the eagerly awaited follow-up, “Mysteria,” was released at the end of 2024. The album stormed to number 13 in the official German rock and metal charts. The single 'Angelina' entered the iTunes rock charts in both Switzerland and Sweden, a feat repeated by the follow-up single 'Arms Around'. So it's only fitting that VIOLET will release their new EP, Silhouettes, on CD, vinyl and digitally in 2026. The band delivers three brand-new 80s anthems across eight songs. With “Calling For You,” one of their hit singles, which has already been released digitally but is not yet available on any physical medium, has made it onto the album. The three live tracks were recorded at the furious “Mysteria” release party in December 2024. The demo version of “Fall In Love” is a very early and completely different version of the song “I Don't Want To Fall In Love” from the “Mysteria” album.
