A celebration of the first 100 years of British broadcasting with over 60 TV, Radio and Film Themes and interlude tracks on this 2CD set. The first CD includ es classic themes from Grandstand, Treasure Hunt, Ski Sunday, Man About The House, Terry And June, Van der Valk, Channel 4 News, The Archers, The Navy Lark, Think of a Number, My World, The Chase and Carry On Christmas, with many on CD for the first time. The second CD features the legendary guitar music from the Gordon Murray Productions of Trumpton, Chigley and Camberwick Green, those catchy little idents heard on the Talking Pictures channel and music from the Trade Test Colour Films broadcast on BBC2 to promote the new colour television service from the late 1960s, plus test card and interval tracks.
