The great David Lynch , who sadly died on the 16th of January 2025 achieved worldwide fame as a flmmaker, flms that include music every bit as surreal as his flms. Throughout Lynch's flms and TV series, music often marks the crossing of a threshold into some strange, alternate reality. From Mulholland Drive to Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks , Lynch's greatest works blend surreal mystery with haunting beauty, creating worlds that linger long after the screen fades to black. All his works reveal a keen ear for unusual, evocative musical choices. 

David Lynch's remarkable legacy was honoured by the BFI (British Film Institute) with a season dedicated to his work, which took place throughout January 2026.
