Not only does Japanese label P-Vine deal in constantly high quality jazz reissues, but it also knows a thing or two about classic soul, too. Philly soul and disco quartet Touch Of Class were eighties greats whose third full length is often regarded as a masterpiece, and in no small way is that down to the production of John Davis. A couple of gems from it are now presented here: the smooth and uplifting 'Anything' has been newly edited for just this 7" and the flip is a much sought after single version of 'Love Means Everything' that is joyous, richly musical and driven by a nice subtle sense of funk.
