Tobias Weindorf s second album for JazzSick Records, which contains pieces primarily composed by the pianist himself on which he is joined by long term partners Kristina Brodersen (sax), Christian Ramond (bass) and Peter Weiss (drums).

There is also a bonus of three vocal tracks by punk rock legend Joey Cape (Lagwagon). Weindorf contributes more self-written tracks here than in comparison to his previous albums and has aimed to cover as many aspects of contemporary jazz as possible. It starts with the line-up, which ranges from solo piano to quintet with vocals.

One encounters the likes of Thelonius Monk and modern straight ahead jazz as well as punk songs, which Weindorf carefully translates into the language of jazz.
