Justin Bailey and Timmy Stuart were key figures in the early days of London's nascent tech house scene. They dropped three arresting EPs from 1999 to 2001 on Surreal and Wiggle and now Sushitech offshoot Pariter is back with more great archive work to bring them back to the fore. 'A Long Weight' is the EP from Terry Francis and Nathan Cole's Wiggle label from 2001 and opens with the hurried, chunky, dubby wobble of 'Hot Lumps' which then also arrives as an Acid Mix laced with bendy 303s. 'Got You' is another busy groove that's full of movement, from the wobbly synth to the prickly acid, all of which serve to get you responding in kind.
