 Exactly 30 years ago, The Young Gods released their fifth studio album, ‘Only Heaven’. This timeless record marked the band’s shift towards a more ambient sound.
 A worthy heir to psychedelic influences, resulting in sonic material of extreme purity, ‘Only Heaven’ confirmed the Swiss band’s international breakthrough, which began with their ‘TV Sky’ album.
 Very few albums can claim to surpass everything that ‘Only Heaven’ contains. Very few artists can claim to have put so much genius into their music. Once again, Roli Mosimann (the fourth member of the band) is at the helm of production.
 When asked about the most influential bands of the early 1990s, everyone from Mike Patton (Faith No More), Devin Townsend, Maynard James Keenan (Tool), Al Jourgensen (Ministry), Trent Treznor (Nine Inch Nails), to The Edge (U2) immediately mention The Young Gods.
