Creeping Bent release Orangutang by The Sexual Objects in September 2025 - The Sexual Objects formed in 2006 by legend of Scottish music Davy Henderson (Fire Engines, Win, Nectarine No9, Port Sulphur) - Orangutang is the frst album released by the group to be readily available - Previous Sexual Objects albums were either only released in Germany, available in extremely limited quantities (1) or deleted and never released - Only one copy of 2015 album Marshmallow was manufactured, it was auctioned for GBP 4,213

Orangutang features 3 tracks produced by Boards of Canada and highlights across its 10 tracks why the group are much revered. It is a signifcant release for the Creeping Bent label ran by Douglas MacIntyre, which is closing down formally at the end of 2025, after 30 years of activity. The conclusion of the label is marked with a range of special releases throughout the year, including albums from The Sexual Objects, The Secret Goldfsh and Gareth Sager.

The Sexual Objects play their frst live show in a decade at Glas Goes Pop festival in July.
