The Kingfshers came together in March 1982 after Article 58 split up - The band only lasted 12 months, and the album they began to forge was never completed - 40 years later Douglas MacIntyre returned to the studio with a reconfgured Kingfshers to record the debut album - Refections In A Silver Sound, released in May 2023 by Last Night From Glasgow in conjunction with Creeping Bent

The Creeping Bent Organisation was formed in December 1994 by Douglas MacIntyre and went on to issue a range art and music by artists including Sexual Objects, The Jazzateers, Vic Godard and Gareth Sager. In January 2022, Creeping Bent joined the LNFG family, with all future Creeping Bent releases being released in conjunction with the main label.
