Bobby Bluebell (The Bluebells) and Grahame Skinner (Hipsway, The Cowboy Mouth) release Volume 2 of Scottish Songs Observed

Now available on Gold Vinyl and CD, this new collection of covers features some of Scotland's greatest pop songs, re- imagined by the duo. The album includes tracks originally by BMX Bandits, Josef K, Bay City Rollers and Strawberry Switchblade. 

Volume 1, released in 2023, quickly sold out on CD, prompting a limited edition vinyl pressing and second edition to be recorded in 2024.

Robert Hodgens aka Bobby Bluebell is best known as the songwriter and guitarist behind The Bluebells. Grahame Skinner is best known as frontman of Hipsway and The Cowboy Mouth. The Cowboy Mouth release new album Faultlines in March 2025. Both Bobby and Grahame are considered legends of Glasgow's music scene.
