After first emerging in 2018, hitherto unknown London name The Forgotten Man returns for a second EP on their own noctu recordings, delving into the arcane language of intricate machine soul spanning the deeper end of techno and electro. The EP opens up with "Pulser", an uplifting, acid tinged 4/4 jam with resplendent synth work spilling out of every pore. "Sky Birds Of Ki" takes a more broken rhythm template, but keeps the effervescent melodic content squarely in the foreground. "Beyond Sector 9" takes things cool and intricate, capturing a little of the magic you'd expect from classic Metamatics in the process.
