Thirteen tracks recorded for the BBC, ranging from a funky Get Out My Life Woman (as the Jaybirds) to an early version of the Woodstock-featured classic I’m Going Home. Five of these tracks were not includ-ed on any of the band’s studio albums. The LP highlights jazz, blues and acoustic influences, which would diminish as the band’s driving blues-rock became internationally successful. Sound quality ranges from soundboard to very good and the release includes full recording details and extensive sleeve notes.
