Svart Ridå’s second album Aponia depicts liberation—both on an inner, psychological level and as a release from reality and the expectations of others. Recorded at the legendary Svenska Grammofonstudion in Gothenburg, the trio takes bold steps toward a rawer, more drum-driven sound. Influences from classic Swedish indie rock collide with noisy guitar solos and infectious pop hooks.
