 ‘ABA’ is the debut album by Sudanese singer and oud player Sulaf. It’s a deeply personal tribute to her grandfather, Aba, a Sufi poet who wrote and sang quietly at home, filling family life with music, reflection and joy. Drawing on his songs and spirit, Sulaf reimagines this intimate repertoire through a contemporary lens.
 Produced by Maxime Kosinetz (Imarhan, Gruff Rhys), the songs’ Sudanese musical textures intertwine with tasteful synths, atmospheric soundscapes and spoken word interludes that deepen the album’s storytelling.
 LP includes printed inner sleeve.
