Stefan Ringer and Marquinn Mason spent a week in Marseille recording music and distilled it into four tracks that are unhurried but never still. 'Bossa Beat' opens on intimate footing, all warm bossa nova lilt and soft-focus vocals, before 'Bounce' loosens into jazz-inflected house with a swing in its step. 'Moving Steady' is the centrepiece of cosmic boogie funk with basslines that feel played in the moment rather than programmed on a screen. Ben Hixon's closing remix flips it into tropical Latin house that's all rolling percussion and slow-burn heat. Atlanta meets the South of France here, and it's a perfect marriage.
