If you're a discerning dub techno head, then Lithuanian label Greyscale should have been on your radar for years already. Now, 15 years on from initial release, this quietly influential album resurfaces and reminds us just how far ahead of its time it was. Flow is the guiding principle throughout, with tracks unfolding patiently and rewarding close listening. Opener '13 Letland' sets the tone with airy static, soft drones and a gently melancholic pulse. 'Maas' leans aquatic, its submerged textures and metallic echoes creating a sense of suspended motion. Energy lifts on 'Hvezda Tanec', where glowing melodies and crisp rhythm bring emotional clarity. Elsewhere, 'Dospele' and 'Osto' favour restraint and atmosphere, while Grad_u's rework of 'Festa' adds a focused, techno-leaning close. Calm, precise and pretty damn perfect.
