Spirits Burning is a music collective led by Don Falcone. The band celebrate space, prog, new music, and other genres, and have included input from family members of Blue Öyster Cult, Clearlight, Gong, Hawkwind, Van Der Graaf Generator, and many other groups, as well as Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson and British science fiction and fantasy writer Michael Moorcock.
Spirits Burning have released 20 albums, featuring almost 300 musicians. Don Falcone is a producer and multi-instrumentalist, and the guiding light behind the Spirits Burning space-rock collective. Falcone was a member of Thessalonians and the original Melting Euphoria, and had a solo project called Spaceship Eyes. In 2025, Don Falcone’s first book, One Of The Spirits Burning, A Musical Memoir, was published by Stairway Press. Bridget Wishart is an English vocalist, musician and performance artist. She was a member of English rock band Hawkwind from 1989 to 1991. Wishart was the first woman to sing lead vocals in
Hawkwind, and is the band's only singing frontwoman in their history. She is an ongoing member of Spirits Burning, and the
Chumley Warner Brothers live duo (with partner Martin
Plumley). This is their third collaboration together, following
Bloodlines in 2009 and Make Believe It Real in 2014.
