 Spiral Grave, the esteemed US groovy doom metal ensemble composed of veterans from Iron Man and Lord, release their anticipated sophomore album, ‘Ill Repute’, this time enriched with a powerful and hard-hitting variety of more traditional heavy metal.
 ‘Screaming Mad’ Dee Calhoun is back as their dedicated vocal frontman, one of the most recognizable vocals in the heavy underground, tapping into the ire of metal god glory (Rob Halford, Ronnie James Dio).
 Many artists have their COVID album, and this is Spiral Grave’s. Once lockdowns started, Spiral Grave just hunkered down and started writing. The emotions that they were all feeling during that time are very evident in these songs.
 Spiral Grave formed in late 2018 following the demise of two legendary mid-Atlantic bands, Iron Man and Lord. The band quickly hit the live circuit and recorded their debut album, ‘Legacy Of The Anointed’. Since that album’s release, Spiral Grave have continued to tour, playing live dates and festivals in and around their home area of Maryland, going as far west as Texas.
