When the Swedish artist Sofa Hardig was little she composed her songs and sang to everything that made a sound; car engines, hoovers, washing machines, hairdryers, and boat motors, in addition hammering away on the family's over hundred-year-old unturned piano while performing operatic voice experiences

It drove her parents insane. Now she is receiving tributes and being hailed by critics, music blogs and press. Her music is being playlisted and on radio rotation all over Europe, USA and Canada. The legendary English DJ and journalist Steve Lemacq, famous for championing new artists and bands to success, has played Sofa Hardig in his show on BBC 6 Music and in Germany Radio Eins dedicated a 2 hour to one of her releases. She has toured sold out shows in Europe. In her home country Sweden, she has been nominated to composer of the year for her album" And The Street Light Leads To The Sea."

On the new album LIGHTHOUSE OF GLASS, Sofa Hardighas, apart from her own guitar, not just one but two of Sweden's fnest guitarists: Robert Johnsson (Robert Johnsson and the punchdrunks) and John Essing (bob hund). And it doesn't stop there Bebe Risenfors, (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) is also contributing alongside with trombonist Viktor Brobacke (Club Killers) and Violinist Sara Edin. Sofa herself doing vocals, trumpet, guitars, piano arrangements and drum-programmings. Sofa has also produced and the album is mixed by Swedish Grammis award winner Nille Perned.
