Don't Worry, It's Forever is an in-time description of love amidst loss, how it feels to straddle generations and contemplate the remains of identity as time moves on. Raw, direct and personal, this is Sister John at their fnest.

Sister John are a band of four multi-instrumentalists from Glasgow, formed around the songwriting of Amanda McKeown. Sister John are Amanda McKeown, Jonathan Lilley, Sophie Pragnell, and Heather Phillips. Their debut album Returned From Sea was released in 2017 and received critical praise including comparisons to The Velvet Underground. Support included plays from BBC Radio Scotland's Roddy Hart and Janice Forsyth, Guy Garvey on BBC Radio 6 Music and Pete Paphides on Soho Radio. Their eponymous second album followed in January 2019, pushing forward with their lo- f lush sound with added swagger to their folk- infused soundscapes. Their third album I Am By Day was released in 2021. Don't Worry, It's Forever is set for release in May 2024 by Last Night From Glasgow.

Returned From Sea sold out on vinyl formats in 2017, it was repressed on vinyl in 2020 and again in 2023.

Sister John releases a split AA 7" single with label-mates and Scottish legends The Bluebells in 2022.

To launch the new album Sister John will perform a three night residency in Glasgow in May 2025.
