Bristol turntable wizard Sir Beans OBE has supplied beats for the Truck album (AE035) and turntables for The Aroma but now drops his first solo release on AE Productions. Having been a member of Parlour Talk/Undivided Attention and Transcript Carriers and then releasing records as a solo producer with a variety of guest MC’s, Sir Beans OBE has a large and solid catalogue and still finds time to be turntablist for the Cloaks alongside Awol one, Gel Roc, Awkward and one of the finest turntablists in the world D-Styles (Invisibl Scratch Piklz).

‘Part Of It’ features MC Kelz (of 3PM) – who holds the distinction of being the first Bristol MC to release Hip Hop on vinyl back in 1988 and is still dropping bombs. The B-side ‘DEF = Defeat Evil Fools’ features Zaeb Dust (The Enjinz), Blaktrix (Ruztik Records) and Medusa (Project Blowed, L.A.) who each add their own unique flavour over Beans’ heavyweight bedrock.

The huge funk fuelled booming soundscape on both tracks stands out from the crowd of other contemporary releases and is mixed and mastered by Rola (The Aroma/Numskullz) – AE Productions engineer of choice who makes it smack like no other.

AE Productions always delivers a nice full colour card sleeve for the full value for money package – this one by long serving AE designer Nick Pointon @ Fineprint. Pressed on standard black vinyl dinked (large hole) 7” vinyl.
