From skate-punk beginnings to soul all-nighters, from obsessive vinyl digging to deep immersion in hip-hop’s golden era, Sepalot has carried the art of sampling like a badge of honor. His beats are mosaics – meticulously pieced together fragments of sound forming an intricate whole. 

Beyond the studio, he’s explored these influences as DJ, producer, and live performer, leading the Sepalot Quartet across Europe’s jazz festivals, and more recently with his experimental band Tikhet alongside Angela Aux.
