The Norwegian underground legend Schwein released his new album "WAR" last September via Apollon Records / Gymnocal Industries – and coinciding with his festival appearance at the Inferno Festival this Easter, the album is finally being pressed on vinyl. Schwein is known for playing in bands such as Russian Amcar Club, Kaare & Partiet, Ym:stammen, Schweinhund and more, and as sound technician on various recordings with Jokke & Valentinerne, Raga rockers, Dum Dum Boys and Satyricon. Live engineer for Khold, Cradle of Filth, Satyricon and Dimmu Borgir – and the list could go on. This new album is the sound of war regarded to the crazy situation with wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and autocrats worldwide. Several of the songs are based on so-called drones that can be found in Norwegian folk music - I.e. that there is a basic tone, as you find in Norwegian folk music with the use of Harding fiddle and langeleik. If you listen carefully, you will hear the sound of Norwegian mountains, fjords and Woods.
