Decca Italy presents a new recording project from our colleagues in Italy of Tomás Luis de Victoria’s Missa Pro Defunctis, recorded at Duomo di Milano with the Schola Cantorum Venerandae Fabricae, conducted by Mons. Massimo Palombella. At the center of the project is the four-voice version of the 1583 Missa Pro Defunctis, rather than the more widely performed and recorded six-part 1605 version.

The recording is presented on a deluxe 2-LP limited edition gatefold featuring a truly beautiful, 25cm 3D Kirigami pop-up of the Duomo di Milano, as well as an elegant CD digipack.
