Swingin' Easy finds the great Sarah Vaughan backed only by a rhythm section of piano, bass & drums, a format in which she only recorded a few times during this early period of her career. This is one of Sarah Vaughan’s lesser known albums for Emarcy, combining two separate trio sessions from 1954 and 1957. The earlier date includes pianist John Malachi, bassist Joe Benjamin and drummer Roy Haynes.
