Sara grew up listening to and learning from Amália Rodrigues, "the ultimate fadista". Her intense stories are sung and told in the earnest and fadista way that distinguishes Sara Correia's voice. Finding emotions we thought were forgotten while listening to Sara Correia sing has become something of a habit. The mournful, soulful and beautiful brand new album is “Do Coração” and it features the new single “Dizer Não” (“Turning You Down”), with words and music by Luísa Sobral,.“I’ve been a fan of Sara’s voice from the very first time I heard her sing. Those bass notes go straight to your heart, you feel every word she sings. I thought that her mournful, striking voice would be a perfect fit for this shattered and bitter character. The new album was produced by her long-time collaborator, Diogo Clemente, one of Portugal’s most renowned musicians.
