Roofman is the indie project around Dutch songwriter Thijs van der Meulen. Hailing from the forests of the Netherlands, he collaborates with a variety of international musicians to get the most out of every song. Being inspired by new people in his life has been a crucial part in the development of what now is Roofman.

Thijs has been on a path of rediscovering his own voice and musicianship ever since his first band split up late 2018. Spending the last years writing, traveling and playing with artists from all across the globe, he has been able to get to know fellow musicians from different cultural and musical backgrounds while experiencing their different approaches and songwriting techniques firsthand.
