Multi-disciplinary creative Jude Greenaway presents his latest project Parallel Action, and reveals the lead single ‘10/10’ featuring the enigmatic MC Charlie Boy Manson, out on the 11th December.

Heavy acidic sonics from Parallel Action meets intense, confident and twisted raps, written and performed by Charlie Boy Manson, a mysterious character challenged by the constant plight of debauchery. ‘10/10’ drops us into a psychedelic arcade, cranking the bass valve up a notch, telling a rebellious story of hedonistic invincibility and freedom - a cocktail of grimey dystopian arrogance, trip-hop breaks, sound-system basslines and lyrical gymnastics.

Greenaway has been producing and performing under the guise of ScanOne since 1997, supported by platforms such as Hyponik and DJ Mag. Originating from the worlds of hardcore and drum n’ bass, this new direction for Parallel Action sees Jude experiment with raw production, downtempo electronics and hip-hop influenced breaks. The Manchester-based MC Charlie Boy Mason is the perfect pairing for this project with a history of collaboration with forward thinking producers. Known for his uniquely poetic and lo-fi twisted raps, he has been championed by the likes of Complex, XLR8R and Wordplay Magazine.

‘10/10’ is from the forthcoming EP ‘Parallel Action featuring Charlie Boy Manson’, a collaborative release from labels C7NEMA100 and Loose Lips out early 2021 and available to available to pre-order on 11th December 2020.
