Last year, Pancratio (the recording alias of Italian artist Gian Luigi Mendozza) made his first appearance on Ryan Elliot's Faith Beat label via the bombastic, on-point brilliance of the Automatic House double-pack. He continues to dazzle on this similarly energetic follow-up, flitting between chunky, bass-heavy, tech-tinged big room deep house funk ('Be Yourself', which boasts a recognisable vocal sample from a soul classic), intergalactic-sounding excellence (the hypnotic, acid-flecked shuffle of 'Take Me To The Music'), sweat-soaked acid house/UKG-tinged deep house fusion ('Catch Me'), and dreamy deep house headiness (picturesque closing cut 'It's Time').
