Pallette's Alexander Carlo Buckley moves past his debut's hypnotic, loop-based meditations into something far more restless here. Each Day As If It Were Your Last drifts through electronica, synthwave, lo-fi and ambient with beats surfacing beneath hazy synths and melodies that feel just out of reach. There is nostalgia baked in and worn soft at the edges. Buckley lets melancholy and lightness sit side by side, and the contrast is where the beauty lies. Yet another ambient masterclass from past Inside The Present that will soundtrack many of life's more introspective moments perfectly.
