Neon Ion is the new solo project of Natalie Sandtorv to emerge on the Norwegian music scene. The award-winning vocalist Natalie Sandtorv has already established herself as quite the stand out artiste, and is now ready to present to the world a neon shimmering group with soulful beats.

Based in Norway, and also working as a songwriter in Europe and in LA. After living in Berlin and Copenhagen for the past 4 years, touring Europe with other projects, she has now moved back to Norway and is ready to hit the scene with this crispy new project, and a new album produced by the renowned producer Erlend Mokkelbost. They have spent the last year recording and producing the album in Italy and Norway.

The music is a type of pop that is new to Norway, and with Sandtorv’s agile and luscious vocals, this is something which should st its mark on the festival scene in 2020! The music moves in an retro-RnB expression, where Thundercat meets Little Dragon, and it oozes of quality and creative abundance. Natalie has really chosen from the top shelf when she put together the band: Keyboardplayer Martin Vinje (Sigrid), Henrik L d en on drums, and bassist Kristian Jacobsen (both known from Rohey and Mosambiq).

The vocalist has gained fantastic reviews for her live performances in the past and has been named by several international media “one to watch”, by NME, The Line Of Best Fit, and Gaffa.
