 ‘Life is beautiful again’ is the debut album of Nadine El Roubi, a Sudanese-born, New Yorkbased singer, rapper, songwriter and multidisciplinary artist.
 The album is the culmination of music created over the last three to four years. While the album can be categorized as primarily neo-soul, its true genre remains fluid - shaped by influences in hip-hop, neo-soul and indie music.
 Both melancholic and powerful, introspective and self-assured, ‘Life is beautiful again’ explores personal and external chaos, womanhood, belonging and the determination to maintain faith through struggle.
 Thematically, it marks a shift from her previous work. Where earlier releases were overtly political, defiant and outward-facing, this album turns inward. It is softer, more reflective, and rooted in the belief that vulnerability can be its own form of strength.
 Written and recorded over three years across four cities, the album carries the imprint of many different versions of a Sudanese woman navigating change, loss, love, ambition and growth - these songs became a way of making sense of the world.
 At its core, the album’s message is simple: even through the ugliest of times, life will always become beautiful again.
