My Philosophy/Vibetown offer the eighth instalment in an ongoing edit series, one that has so far run several primary colours of the 90s hip-hop gamut in beats-and-pieces form: 'Ten Crack Commandments', 'Atliens' and 'If I Ruled The World' among them. This round pairs up a rework each of 'Step Into A World' by KRS-One/Boogie Down Productions' and 'This One' by Diamond D, squeezing both into clear, cloud-bap staples from apparently original source material. Skeletal but job-doing cuts, between acapella version-work and pure oddity.
