 Moonin Down are a band by three musicians who have been playing in many bands of the Italian underground for years: Stefano Biagioni (guitar and voice), Fabio Buda (bass and voice) and Alessio Tambellini (drums and voice). Their favourite dimension is playing live, and these recordings reflect that.
 The themes dealt with in the texts are intimist: oppressive moods from which to escape, existential reflections, broken dreams and the inevitability of fate.
 Debut album ‘The Third Planet’ is focused on psychedelia, garage pop / rock and hard blues from the late 1960s and early 70s, but also adapted to more modern desert stoner rock without an old-fashioned stereotyped sound - cool, catchy, heavy and psychedelic retro rock.
