Along with a stellar London rhythm section - David Arch (Keyboards),Steve Pearce (Bass Guitar), Sammy Mayne (Flute And Saxophones) and Tim Goodyer (Drums) Mitch is joined by Grammy award winners The SWR Big Band from Stuttgart,Germany and percussionist Edwin Bonilla (Miami,Florida).

The album was recorded and mixed at Red Kite Studios by Martin Levan and also introduces Jazz Morley on three tracks. Out Of The Shadows showcases Mitch's enduring love of American music, featuring influences drawn from an eclectic mix of Jazz Fusion, Blues, The Great American Song Book, Latin and Bebop.
