Remember classic duets sung bypartners over the years; so much is said, more thanjust words.'Warm You' is the collaboration between Mandaworld(aka Amanda Hicks) and partner Matthew Tavares (akaMatty of BADBADNOTGOOD fame). It is a song about yourlover getting out of bed in the middle of the nightbecause they can't sleep and you telling them to comeback to where it's warm and safe and they're loved. It was written in their Montreal apartment a fewmonths after they moved in. Matty described thewriting process "We just spontaneously decided tomake music, and the idea came out pretty muchimmediately. I laid down some guitar and then Amandaplayed the synth line over it and I edited the guitarso the timing was more interesting. We worked on
it for a few days getting the chorus and the verses tofeel right and, for the most part, everything fellinto place super intuitively. Amanda wrote thelyrics."

This heartfelt, dream-pop song, with a mellow shoe-gaze sensibility, lets the pair trade verses whilstthe instrumentation builds to a crescendo and theduo's voices finally combine. Lush, passionate andpersonal, a beautiful song, rich in evocativememories.

On the 'B- side', Mandaworld takes centrestage. 'Spoonfeed' is a spacey synth bass- led ambientballad with smokey hazy vocals, calming like a bubblebath. Produced with a timeless quality, the songleaves you with a sense of tranquility and a feelingof being submerged underwater.

Like all the best music this 7" is deeply personal,yet these are universal themes that are relatable toany listener as they recognise their own experienceswithin the mood of the songs.
