Marc Pharoah's Motor City classic first came on Mad Mike's Soul City label but now reappears courtesy of Omar S and his mighty FXHE. It is one of only a trio of EPs the man also known as Bobby Ceal, Marc King and Voltage Controlled Ficus put out under this alias but it really is special: 'My Body Is Strong' is loopy with muted but jazzy chord sequences. 'Watch Your Step' has a more raw aesthetic but still jazz shines through in the grinding synth loops that are rigid but infectious. 'Come Home' closes out with steamy, low-slung beats and pristine hi-hats that get right under your skin.
