Lou’s Epic 1974 album “I’m In Need of Love” is regarded by some as the best modern soul album ever made. Lou was a Detroit artist who established himself in the 60s where he first worked as a writer and producer with Barbara Lewis. In the 70s he was signed as an artist to legendary producer Jerry Ragovoy’s Rags label through Epic. Hereafter he was briefly a member of The Fifth Dimension.
