LA VÉNUS was born out of love and friendship between Mika (Tan2em, Les Idiots), Juliette (Tan2em), and Xan (Willis Drummond). The band reveals itself in the form of an album (10 "Pop New-wave" songs) produced by Johannes Buff (Sonic Youth, Thurston Moore, The Internet, Zombie Zombie) and Pierre Loustaunau (Petit Fantôme, Francois and the Atlas Mountain) at Shorebreaker studio. Through this album, Juliette tells of her desires, hopes, sorrows, joys, and her vision of a world in turmoil... and tries at the French language with ease on a track called "Sur le fil". Mika and Juliette share the singing, and while she is the voice of La Vénus, alternately melancholic and radiant, he sings on the three darkest tracks of the album. The trio - Juliette (vocals, lyrics), Mika (guitar, vocals, composition), and Xan (bass) will be on tour from September 2023. The album will be released in October 2023 and La Vénus intends to present their compositions on stage from 2023 onwards.
