She facilitates writing sessions with groups and individuals who feel left out or marginalized, in hopes of reconnecting those who are divided.

Inspired by Kyshona's ancestral history, her family members, and her communities, her highly- anticipated album "Legacy" chronicles her journey researching and writing about her family and their stories.
