Kwamé Ba is a professional pianist, composer, and dancer based in Rennes, France.

Born in Senegal and raised in Martinique, Kwamé's art is deeply rooted in Black music.

Whether as a pianist or dancer, his talent has led him to perform in legendary venues and festivals such as the New Morning, Jazz à Vienne, and Summer Dance Forever in Amsterdam.

After numerous solo releases and performances with the group Oswela, he launched his label Piebwa, on which he released his first album, Douvan Douvan.

He returns with Rivaj, a collection of songs, danced prayers, and sung reflections. This album, both in its themes and its aesthetic, is a contemporary ode to the beauty of Afro-Caribbean heritage.
