Paul Wise's We're Going Deep imprint welcomes one of LA's rather underrepresented but prolific veterans for a four-tracker that spans all the way back to the early 90s. Recording for decades under aliases like Ashtar Afterhours, Bit Shift and Emerald City, Graham brings a similar range here. 'JoshRIP' opens with raw, purist acid with 2-step 808s locked to cutting TB-303 lines, while 'Greedworx' settles into angular FM bass and dubby, whispered atmospheres. The flip lifts the tempo slightly on 'Hiding From Machines' with organic percussion and an emotive lead balanced against a big bassline. Closer 'Mecca' drifts into hazy, IDM-tinged territory that edges toward bleep. A masterclass from a producer who deserves more attention.
