With his first solo-album, the young jazz-pianist and sound-artist Jul Dillier from Central-Switzerland releases a novel rather than a CD.

‘Sol tudes’, published as a bound book, tells in two chapters (cycles) wordless tales of isolation and solitude, resonant thoughts on identity and provenance. 

The album was recorded at the artist’s home in the weeks of the first lockdown. Using various extended-techniques and piano-preparations, ‘Sol tudes’ reveals a storybook of sounds and atmospheres, making you forget already within the first few minutes, that this is piano-music.
