The track "Zeit" from Johannes Schmoelling's solo album "Wuivend  Riet" (1986) was the frst he composed for this album - At the same time, this music marked his departure from Tangerine Dream in 1985

For his solo concert in November 2018 in Oirschot/ Netherlands, Schmoelling retrospectively chose the motto "Zeit unendlich?" (engl. "Time Infnite?".

Joining him was his longtime companion Robert Waters, like Schmoelling formerly a member of the band Loom (Jerome Froese, J. Schmoelling and Rob Waters).

The album "Zeit unendlich?" contains 2 audio CDs, which reproduce the concert in its entire length. In addition, there is a bonus DVD as a third medium. Here the viewer learns in the form of extensive interview sequences thoughts about the music and backgrounds to the concert of Schmoelling and Waters. And excerpts from the concert are documented on flm, refecting the atmosphere and the live performance of the two musicians.
