 JJerome87 is the solo moniker of British songwriter, musician and frontman of the critically acclaimed Mercury Prize and Ivor Novello-winning band, alt-J.
 Recorded in LA alongside producer Carlos De La Gaza, a dedicated group of session musicians and a trio of female vocalists, ‘The Canyon’ is a collection of songs with a Californian, Motown, Blues and Gospel energy.
 “After finishing ‘The Dream’ in 2022, my writing did not slow down. Between 2022 - 2024 I began building a collection of songs that looked more and more like an album, more personal and emotionally separate from alt-J. It soon became something I was excited to release if not a little nervous. This is the first time I have recorded outside of alt-J and Charlie Andrew, and so I am eager to know what you all think about it.
