Jewel Scheme is the new project from Scottish songwriter Martin Henry (De Rosa, Whin, solo), and multi instrumentalists Chris Connick and Allan Carroll (Knockout Ned, De Rosa). Many tracks mix disparate elements - location samples of Cypriot mountain towns, Talk Talk-esque guitars, Vangelis synths - while Henry’s Glasgow accented lyrics speak of human connection and state brutality. The album was mixed by Martin Henry and mastered by producer Andy Miller (Mogwai, Songs:Ohia, Life Without Buildings).
