Sunday 23rd February 2025. Jenny Don't & The Spurs play a free party at the aptly named Jenny Lind, situated in the English south coast seaside town of Hastings. With punters marking their spot hours before stage time, we knew this was going to be a belter.... and it was that and much, much, more. The bands raw country-garage intensity combined with the hoedown party atmosphere of the hundred odd people crammed within the wood panelled walls of this old town boozer is perfectly captured. There's no hiding on a live album and here, Jenny Don't and the Spurs prove themselves to be on top of their sweat drenched game.

Hailing from Portland, Oregan. JD&TS formed in 2012 whose members having played in bands ranging from country, rockabilly, new wave to straight out hardcore punk. Jenny cut her teeth in the garage rock band DON’T, whilst drummer Buddy Weeks has toured extensively with OTIS HEAT and SALLIE FORD & THE OUTSIDE SOUND. Bass player Kelley Halliburton’s history lies in the Portland punk scene with bands such as RESIST, MASSKONTROL plus P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S with POISON IDEA drummer Dean Johnson. Meanwhile guitarist Christopher March spent his youth playing in various Bluegrass and “Power Violence” bands! This explains a lot. JENNY DON’T & THE SPURS will satisfy both the country purist and keep the die-hard rocker firmly in the front row. No mean feat, that’s for sure.
In 2025 alone the band have played 15 countries, 11 states ,64 shows across USA, Mexico and Europe… and it ain’t over yet. A further tour of the U.S. and Australia awaits before the sun rises on a new year.
