Following records on Ninja Tune sister label Technicolour, Theo Parrish's Sound Signature, Kyle Hall's Wild Oats and Steven Julien's Apron Records. Detroit producer Jay Daniel returns with the SSD EP on his own Watusi High label. The four cuts provide something of a snapshot of Jay Daniel in the middle of an artistic transition.
